Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s chilling, suspenseful, heart-pounding masterpiece tells the infamous tale of the unjustly exiled barber who returns to London seeking revenge against the judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. To avenge his love's death, he enters into a sinister partnership with a resourceful pie shop proprietress. Sophisticated, macabre, visceral and uncompromising, what follows is a one of a kind experience that has audiences laughing hysterically one moment and gasping in shock the next. Sondheim's groundbreaking score immortalizes one of the most memorable and tragic romances in a production that will haunt you for years to come. Director John Housley once again joins conductor Curt Ebersole, vocal music director James Ruck and nearly the entire staff of last year’s sold out production of “Man of La Mancha”.
